Getting there...


We've been running about for the last few days but have finally got 2 bikes and all the bits we think we need
They are Marin hybrid things. Bit boring but should hopefully do the job well. The choice was a bit limited. We rode them back from the shop through the notorious Bangkok traffic but it actually felt fine.
 Now all we need is to somehow fit all our stuff into a pair of panniers each and get going. We're off early in the morning, heading east then turning south to follow the coast. We plan to ride about 50km a day but will probably have to do some bigger days to reach town on the longer stretches. We are carrying basic camping gear which will get us out of trouble(or into it!).  Wish us luck! Xx

    I like them, they're just bikes, fairly pure and fairly simple. They suit you to a tee.
