Forgot this!
At this crazy festival there is a tree trunk which is at least 100ft high stuck in the central square that a ladder has been nailed to. 2 at a time men climb it and sit in a rope noose/ sling. The rope has been coiled up around the top bit that spins. They jump off together and spin down as the rope uncoils.
